Member Care Coordinator - Support Hub

The role is based out of Atlanta, GA.

The purpose of the Member Care Coordinator is to make sure that our Support Hub team members are taken care of spiritually and help shepherd the members of the Global Leadership Team. The Member Care Coordinator will also provide tools and resources to the different locations so that they can do member care with excellence. This ministry role is part or full-time and support-raising is required. The Member Care Coordinator has the ability to work on site and from home on a regular basis. The role is based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Required Qualifications

• Must personally embrace GFM’s purpose, vision, values and statement of faith and identify as a maturing believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
• Must demonstrate humility, teachability, and an ability to work well with others
• Must display advanced interpersonal and communication skills (Gmail, Slack, etc.)
• Must function well both independently and in a team environment
• Must have high shepherding skills and capacity
• Must have a good understanding of issues that missionaries face on the field
• Must be available for the first month of MTS semesters, last two weeks of MTS semesters, planning and during retreats,& freedom camp.
• Strongly suggest being available for Self Leadership Week, Shape Week, Personality Week,& Guy/Girl week.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel and support the spiritual, emotional, and mental needs of the Support Hub team and the Global Leadership Team members
• Help collect and develop resources for the MTS classroom especially for DISCover your personality, SHAPE, freedom camp, guy/girl relationships, and self leadership weeks
• Help collect and develop resources that will help the Member Care staff at each GFM location
• Keep a current list of counseling, retreat, debriefing and other resources that will help missionaries on the field
• Make sure that the different bases are doing a good job helping students reach their heart competencies
